Looking for some Latin flavor? Las Iguanas serves food from countries such as Mexico, Brazil, Spain, and Puerto Rico… just to name a few. There’s ample seating indoors and outdoors so no reservations are necessary, but recommended. They offer a lunch special with generous sized portions starting at £6.90 Monday to Friday with selections like a burrito, sweet potato fishcakes or asparagus salad. Their kids’ menu is also excellent, moderately priced and big enough to fill their tummies. Note that they also have organic baby food – complimentary! Close to Waterloo station and on the South Bank, it’s a hot spot for both tourists and locals. Highly recommended so be sure to check the location nearest to you!

Emporio Sao Paulo
In Cafes & bakeries, Indoor fun on April 4, 2010 at 10:59 pmWe always have a good time at Emporio Sao Paulo. The staff is super friendly and the space is perfect for our little ones to play and crawl around. They serve a selection of Brazilian breads and desserts as well as salads, pastries and other foods. Also for retail is a wide selection of children’s food such as Hipp Organic. I have been told that they will also start serving their own freshly made organic food for children. It’s been a while since I’ve been there so will update on whether or not they’ve begun making it yet. If they have, it will be fantastic. The play area is located on the lower level with plenty of toys to keep the children entertained and enough highchairs for mealtime. It doesn’t get overly crowded which is why we like it so much. Furthermore, it’s located in a predominantly residential area (Parsons Green) which makes it safe and pleasant to walk to. One of my favorite finds thus far!
